Payment for your Purchase

You may pay for your purchase using all major credit and debit cards. Just follow the instructions when you click to purchase your watch. Payment may also be made by bank to bank transfer. Please ask for our account details if you wish to pay by this method. We can only accept payment in Sterling.

Please note that if you pay for a watch this will not form a binding contract between us to sell the watch to you until we confirm acceptance of your payment. If for any reason we cannot send the watch you want to purchase to you, for example if it has developed a fault, we will return your money in full immediately.

Delivery Information

We send watches worldwide. We will pack your watch carefully with plenty of padding material, so unless the package is seriously mishandled in transit, you will receive your purchase in perfect condition. We will normally despatch the goods to you no later than three working days after receiving a cleared payment. If for reasons beyond our control this is not possible, we will inform you by email and provide you with the expected date for despatch of your goods.

All packages with a UK address are delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which guarantees next working day delivery and provides insurance for the value of the purchase up to £2500.

Packages sent to overseas addresses will be despatched by either Royal Mail International Signed For, with insurance up to £500, or by private courier service (normally DHL), with insurance up to £1000. However we will, at your request, send a watch costing more than £500 by Royal Mail but you must pay by bank transfer, NOT Paypal. Please note that by choosing Royal Mail, you will be agreeing that your compensation for loss or damage in transit is limited to £500. Due to problems with delivery to Italian addresses we will only send goods using a courier service if you pay using Paypal.

If you are an overseas buyer, please be aware that some countries impose duties and taxes on goods imported from the United Kingdom. We understand that residents from European Union (EU) countries do not charge import duties on goods sent with the EU but we recommend that make your own checks before purchasing from us. It is your sole responsibility, not that of the seller, to pay any and all duties or taxes imposed by your country.

Warranty

We warrant that the goods you receive will not vary significantly from the written details and photographs shown on our website. We provide a comprehensive written description and also provide several clear photographs, using a macro lens which displays our watches highly magnified and from several different angles. You will see detail not visible to the naked eye and will therefore inevitably find that when you receive your watch it will look even better than in our photographs.

If the watch has been serviced by ourselves, and we will always state if this is so in the watch description, we will warrant the watch for three months after purchase against mechanical failure. The warranty excludes accidental or deliberate damage. As you are buying a vintage watch which will be many years old, we do not warrant that any of our watches are water resistant (even if they are marked as such) or against wear and tear of mechanical parts which may require replacement. If we are able to obtain parts (and we have sources all over the world) we will provide you with a written quotation before commencing any work. If you return the watch under warranty and we find that it has been tampered with or the watch has had work done to it by another watchmaker, we will be unable to undertake any work under warranty.
