A 10 carat gold filled Memovox alarm watch from Jaeger LeCoultre, dating to 1967, in great overall condition. This timepiece has an elegant case and the beautiful dial has a sweep seconds hand and an alarm arrow marker on the inner section. The movement is running strongly and keeping time with the alarm function working perfectly. It is fitted with a new good quality "Hirsch" leather strap so this vintage watch is ready to wear.
Dial: satin silver finish, signed “LeCoultre Memovox Swiss”. Gold coloured batons mark the hours and the crystal is clean and clear. The dial looks to be factory original. It has a few light marks which you can see in the photos but as they are barely noticeable when the watch is worn, I did not want to spoil the originality by having any restoration undertaken.
Case: 10 carat gold filled in excellent condition, measuring approximately 34 mm across, excluding the crowns and 40 mm in overall length. The outside and inside of the rear cover are hallmarked "10K Gold Filled" and the inside is signed "LeCoultre". The case shows the expected signs of careful and clearly infrequent use over 52 years use but absolutely no signs of abuse, dents or significant scratches that I could see to point out to you.
Movement: high grade 17 jewelled manual cal. K910 movement, freshly oiled and adjusted, running strongly and keeping time. The watch is wound and set by the lower crown and the alarm is wound and set by the upper crown. Both functions operate correctly. The serial number dates the watch to 1967.
Strap: fitted with a new "Hirsch" black leather lizard grain strap which attached to the watch measures approximately 210 mm from buckle tip to last hole.
