A stunning 14 carat solid gold gentlemans' manual wristwatch manufactured by Jaeger LeCoultre in c1969. In excellent overall condition, the watch has a classic case in great condition and a stunning dial set with four genuine diamonds set in solid white gold casings marking the hours. The freshly oiled and adjusted movement is running strongly and keeping time. A new strap has just been fitted and the crystal was replaced recently so this vintage watch is ready to wear. It is quadruple signed, on the dial, case, crown and movement.
Case: 14 carat solid gold, in great condition measuring approximately 32 mm across excluding the signed crown and 35 mm from lug to lug. The inside of the back cover is signed "LeCoultre" and the hallmarked as 14 carat solid gold as is the outside. The case shows the inevitable signs of careful and probably infrequent use over 50 years but no signs of abuse, dents or scratches of any significance that I could see to draw to your attention.
Dial: satin silver finish with hours marked by applied white gold batons and four genuine diamonds set in white gold casings. The dial is signed "LeCoultre Swiss". The hands are in good shape and the crystal is clean and clear. The dial has just been returned from professional restoration to a very high standard and back to as it looked when new.
Movement: LeCoultre 17 jewel movement, freshly oiled and adjusted by Richard my watchmaker, running strongly and keeping time. The serial number dates the movement to c1969.
Strap: fitted with a new generic brown leather lizard grain strap which attached to the watch measures approximately 206 mm from buckle tip to last hole.
