A 14 carat solid gold gentlemans' vintage manual watch manufactured by Longines, dating to 1966. In great original un-restored condition, the classic case and dial present very well and the movement is running strongly and keeping time. The watch is is quadruple signed, on the dial, case, crown and movement.
Case: 14 carat solid gold in very good condition, presenting very well on the wrist. The inside and outside of the case are hallmarked as 14K gold and the inside is signed "Longines". It measures approximately 37 mm from lug to lug and 33 mm across, excluding the signed crown. The case shows the expected light marks from use over the years but absolutely no signs of abuse, dents or scratches of any significance that I could see to point out to you.
Dial: factoty original in very good condition,finished in satin silver with hours marked by applied gold coloured batons and a subsidiary seconds dial with cross hairs. The dial is signed "Longines" and bears the famous winged emblem. The hands are in good shape and the crystal is clean and clear.
Movement: crisp and clean Longines cal. 370 movement with 17 jewels set in solid gold casings, running well and keeping time. The serial number dates the watch to 1966.
Strap : fitted with a "Speidel" brown leather strap, which attached to the watch measures approximately 23 mm from buckle tip to last hole.
