This watch is unique. And I use the term advisedly. You will not find another like it and I love it. It is an Omega gents watch with a huge, solid silver custom made case (measuring approximately 37 mm x 50 mm). If you look at the second photo below you will see I have juxtaposed the watch with a vintage Omega Constellation from the same period; a good sized watch for its time. The movement in the watch for sale is a freshly serviced cal. 266 Omega movement dating to 1954. This watch has been a labour of love over many months for my watchmaker and me. When I acquired it, the movement was not running, the case back was missing its screws, it had no crystal or strap. New life has now been breathed into this watch after the movement has received a full strip down and service, a new hand made glass crystal has been fitted and a new Italian genuine crocodile calf strap attached (25 mm wide) which is a lot of crocodile due to the massive size of this watch. This watch has not been over restored so it retains its great original vintage look but of course it is running perfectly and keeping time, ready to wear.
Dial: finished in satin silver and signed "Omega" with black Arabic numerals marking the hours and a red Arabic number 12. It has a subsidiary seconds dial. The glass crystal is new and the blued steel hands are in good shape.
Case: solid silver, in very good condition, measuring approximately 37 mm across excluding the crown and 55 mm from lug to lug.
Movement: crisp and clean cal. 266 manual movement with 17 jewels, just serviced by Richard my watchmaker (warranted for 6 months), running strongly and keeping time. The serial number dates the movement to 1954.
Strap: fitted with a new good quality brown genuine crocodile calf strap. Attached to the watch, it measures approximately 238 mm from buckle tip to last hole.
