Omega hunter pocket watch manufactured in c1914, in original unrestored condition, running strongly and keeping time. It was manufactured for the South American market.
Dial: porcelain dial in very good original condition, with an antique white finish. I cannot see any hairlines at all which is both unusual and remarkable for a dial of this age. There is hardly a mark on it. The dial is signed "Omega Santiago Coppo Carera FCCA" The hours are marked by black Roman numerals; there is an outer minutes chapter and a sunken subsidiary seconds dial. The acrylic crystal is clean and clear.
Case: in good condition, measuring approximately 50 mm in diameter. The type of metal is not marked but it looks like silver. The inside of the cover is signed "Omega". There are three hinges, one covering the dial and two covers to protect the movement. There are some dents on the case from use but it still presents nicely.
Movement: good quality jewelled movement (probably 15 or 17). It has gilded plates and is signed "Omega" with the serial number 431190 dating the watch to c1914. The watch winds and sets using the original onion crown. The movement is running strongly and keeping time. My watchmaker has oiled and adjusted it but due to the age of the watch I cannot guarantee continued accuracy.
