SOLD OMEGA SEAMASTER 18K GOLD PLATED CHRONOGRAPH Gents Watch 1968 - SERVICED

Sorry this watch has been purchased

A superb Omega Seamaster 18 carat gold plated three register chronograph gentlemans' wristwatch manufactured in 1968, in stunning overall condition. It houses the cal. 861 Lemenia based 17 jewel movement, the successor to the revered cal. 321 and used in the Speedmaster "Moon Watch". This beautiful watch presents very well on the wrist and having been serviced in December 2018, just before I purchased the watch, it is running strongly and keeping time with all chronograph functions working correctly. This work retails at upwards of £300 for a complicated movement so please factor in that the next service should not be required for several years when considering my competitive asking price for this watch. It is signed four times, on the dial, case, movement and crown.

Dial: factory original in pristine condition, finished in satin silver with three registers and signed "Omega Seamaster Swiss Made". The hands are in very good shape and the crystal is clean and clear.

Case: 18K gold plated with a stainless back in excellent condition, measuring approximately 35 mm across, excluding the signed crown and 41 mm from lug to lug. It is signed Omega on the inside of the cover. The case shows signs of very light and probably infrequent use over the years but absolutely no signs of abuse, dents or scratches of any significance that I could see to point out to you.

Movement: cal. 861 jewel Omega manual movement, serviced in December 2018 and not worn since. It s running strongly and keeping time with the chronograph functions working correctly.

Strap: fitted with a used Hadley Roma brown crocodile stitched and lightly padded strap which attached to the watch the strap measures approximately 215 mm from buckle tip to last hole.
